Abstract

The development of legislation in the field of subsoil use in Kazakhstan has been a continuous process since the country gained independence in 1991. The original legislative framework was created in the early 1990s, and since then it has undergone several revisions and updates to keep pace with the changing needs and priorities of the country's subsoil sector. The study analyzes the development of legislation in the field of subsoil use, taking into account its constitutional foundations. The following aspects will be considered in the work: a historical overview of legislation in the field of subsoil use, from ancient times to modern times period. Assessing contemporary challenges and problems associated with subsoil use, such as conflicts of interest, environmental threats, and the necessity to improve regulation and control. Consider ways to improve legislation and its compliance with constitutional principles to ensure more effective management of subsoil resources and ensure sustainable development. This study will help to better understand the evolution of legislation in the field of subsoil use and identify key areas for its improvement, taking into account the constitutional framework.
