Abstract

The article reveals a number of problems related to the labor status of special subjects of the labor law of pharmacists. In Kazakhstan, there are practically no scientific studies related to the labor of this category of workers, therefore, special attention is paid to their rights and obligations, job descriptions, remuneration, and incentive payments established by the employer's acts. Currently, in pharmaceutical organizations, there are actually no provisions for bonuses and other incentive allowances and additional payments; in the collective agreements of healthcare workers, the main focus is only on the working conditions and salaries of health workers. Given the everincreasing volume of work of pharmacists associated with advising patients about the properties of medicines and medical devices offered by doctors, and over-the-counter pharmacy products, they are in direct contact with medicines, help pharmacists to manufacture medicines, and therefore the work of pharmacists is stressful and harmful, which objectively requires the development of additional measures to protect their lives and health. The author proposes measures for the additional legal regulation of the rights and obligations of pharmacists, considering modern realities.
