Legal regulation of the work of medical and pharmaceutical workers: conflicts and gaps in the labor legislation of Kazakhstan

In the presented scientific article, the authors carried out a brief analysis of the current labor legislation in Kazakhstan. The authors tried to identify some problematic aspects of the legal regulation of the work of medical and pharmaceutical workers. The specificity of the legal status of medical and pharmaceutical workers lies in the fact that the regulation of their work is based not only on general norms of labor legislation but also on special normative acts affecting the various features of their activities. From a scientific point of view, the legal status of medical and pharmaceutical workers has not been sufficiently studied in the labor law of Kazakhstan. In this regard, there has been carried out an analysis of the current Kazakh labor legislation. There have been identified some gaps in the legal regulation of the work of medical and pharmaceutical workers. The study also focuses on the provisions of the current labor legislation of some foreign countries regulating the work of medical and pharmaceutical workers. According to the results of the study, the article reflected the authors’ proposals aimed at improving Kazakhstan’s labor and medical legislation.
